Hundreds of more Afghans depart via Torkham and Angoor Adda

PESHAWAR, Dec 09 (APP):The repatriation of Afghan nationals continued at a rapid pace at Torkham and Angoor Adda borders.
According to the Home Department here on Tuesday, a total of 543 Proof of Registration (PoR) card holders, 114 Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders and 488 undocumented Afghan nationals were sent back to Afghanistan from the Torkham border the other day.
Officials stated that thousands of Afghan nationals have also completed their return through the Angoor Adda border crossing.
In addition, Afghan residents who had been shifted from other provinces to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have now been included in the repatriation process.
The authorities confirmed that the repatriation operation is being monitored on a daily basis to ensure transparency and smooth execution.
So far, hundreds of thousands of Afghan nationals have returned to their homeland under this ongoing process.
