FAISALABAD, Oct 28 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has said that the Punjab government is introducing a ‘Housing Society Management System’ across the province to bring the approval matters of private housing schemes through this system.
After enforcing the new system, the development authorities or other regulatory bodies will apply for approval of the society through this online system. The digital system has been developed by the Punjab Land Record Authority.
He was addressing a training session organized for the awareness of developers of the private housing schemes at FDA complex here on Tuesday.
He said that the ‘Housing Society Management System’ is of great importance, which will eliminate illegal housing schemes and some irregularities in this regard, cheating the public, forgery and fraud and ensure full implementation of legal and departmental requirements in the approval of housing schemes.
He asked the developers to get a complete understanding and take advantage of the digital system for the approval of schemes.
During the multimedia briefing, the experts explained the complete procedure to apply for housing scheme approval in the Housing Society Management System. They also informed about the online application procedure, required documents, other requirements, and fee/dues.
In response to some questions raised by the developers, they said that this system was developed with the support of the World Bank with the aim to legalize land matters.
