LAHORE, Oct 31 (APP):The government has decided to provide the facility of house building advance for government employees.
The federal government has issued an explanatory office memorandum stating that government employees in grades 1 to 16 will be able to get 36 months of advance salary, while officers in grades 17 and above will be entitled to 24 months of advance salary.
According to the memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance, federal government employees in grades 1 to 16 have been included in the category of “government officials”, while officers in grades 17 and above will be considered in the category of “officers”.
This memorandum states that whenever federal government employees apply for house building advance, they will be given advance amount as per the Federal Government Receipts and Payment Rules 2025.
