PESHAWAR, Oct 25 (APP):The Higher Education Department (HED) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed all the vice chancellors of the public sector universities to recall and repatriate their employees working on deputation basis in other public sector departments.
Referring to the provision regarding deputation from universities, tripartite mobility (section-51), it said that the section-52 had been deleted through an amendment in 2015 and there was no provision explicitly provided for deputation from a university to the public sector department.
It said that despite the amendment the practice of working on deputation was in vogue all across the public sector universities in KP which it said was “ultra vires of the law”.
It directed all the public sector universities to stop and discontinue the practice in future.
