Held under the vision of a “Corruption-Free Pakistan,” the session aimed to promote integrity, responsibility, and ethical awareness among students by encouraging the creation of CBS units in colleges. These societies are designed to equip youth with the mindset to resist corruption and play a constructive role in society.
The session was attended by Deputy Secretary HED South Punjab Salman Aslam, Section Officer Zahid Abbas, DPI Colleges South Punjab Dr. Fareed Sharif Farooqi, divisional directors, and deputy directors of colleges. NAB Multan was represented by Deputy Director Adnan Faisal Gondal and Assistant Director Anum Khan.
In their remarks, NAB officials emphasized that the bureau’s role goes beyond accountability, highlighting its commitment to societal reform, transparency, and youth engagement. They underscored the damaging impact of corruption on national development and the critical need for value-based education in countering it.
Participants welcomed the initiative and pledged to establish Character Building Societies in all government colleges across South Punjab. These societies will foster values of honesty, responsibility, and moral courage among students, ultimately preparing them to contribute to a transparent and accountable Pakistan.
