QUETTA, Nov 02 (APP): Balochistan Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar conducted a comprehensive inspection of the under-construction Trauma Center on Spini Road, Quetta, a critical healthcare project aimed at transforming emergency medical services across the province.
Accompanied by Special Secretary Health Shahak Baloch, officials from the Communication and Works (C&W) Department, and representatives from other relevant agencies, the Minister reviewed the progress and issued firm directives to expedite the project.
During the visit, Minister Kakar emphasized key priorities as the project must be finalized without delay to meet urgent public health needs.
He emphasized that the construction must adhere to global benchmarks to ensure the delivery of modern, reliable medical care.
Highlighting the strategic importance of the facility, the Health Minister said that the Trauma Center will significantly improve the province’s capacity to handle accident and emergency cases, benefiting not only Quetta but all of Balochistan.
The provincial government remains committed to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and implementing reforms that ensure access to high-quality treatment.
The center will serve as a cornerstone in the government’s mission to provide international-standard health services to the people.
