Head teachers to be appointed on merit, written exam on June 23
LAHORE, Jun 22 (APP):To ensure the appointment of head teachers in government schools on merit, the School Education Department has decided to conduct the written exam on June 23. Special arrangements for transparency and effective monitoring have been issued for conducting the exam.
According to the department, the head teacher posting test will be conducted by the Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), while the CEOs of all districts have been directed to fully cooperate in the transparent conduct of the exam.
In order to make the examination process organised and transparent, an order has been issued to install CCTV cameras in the examination centers so that the monitoring system can be made effective.
In addition, instructions have also been issued to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the examination, while arrangements will also be made for the provision of tablets equipped with internet facilities for the candidates.
The Education Department has ordered the appointment of a focal person in each district to liaise
with PECTAA and monitor the arrangements so that the examination activities can be completed on time.
