ABBOTTABAD, Oct 15 (APP):The Hazara Museum, a beautiful gift from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will be opened to the public within the next two months.
This was disclosed during a visit by Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Salim Akram, to the Hazara Museum, where Curator and Sub-Regional Officer, Archaeology and Museums Hazara Division, Syed Niaz Ali Shah, briefed him on the construction, renovation, administrative preparations, and inauguration plans.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Hazara Museum would not only attract tourists but also serve as an important center of learning and research for children, students, and scholars.
He added that the project was a valuable initiative of the KP Government for the citizens of Hazara Division, particularly Abbottabad, and would serve as a milestone in preserving and promoting the region’s cultural and historical identity.
The museum is being developed as both an archaeological and ethnological center, showcasing the historical heritage, cultural artifacts, and rare collections of the Hazara Division.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to ensure proper arrangements for parking, public facilities, and easy access for visitors to provide maximum convenience.
