LAHORE, Aug 09 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Sunday visited the residence of late Ameer-ul-Azeem and expressed condolences to his family over his demise.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said Ameer-ul-Azeem was his long-standing friend and a dear brother, and his death had caused him deep sorrow.

He described the deceased as a sincere, straightforward and principled person, saying his political, social and national services would be remembered.

The minister prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the deceased a high place in His mercy and give patience and strength to the bereaved family.

Muhammad Hanif Abbasi also expressed condolences to Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Emir Liaquat Baloch over the death of Ameer-ul-Azeem.
