Hajj draw held at SSUET, 2 lucky employees to perform Hajj

KARACHI, Jul 07 (APP):The 24th annual Hajj draw at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) was held with deep reverence, resulting in the selection of two lucky staff members to undertake the sacred pilgrimage in 2026.
Organized by the University’s administration, the event aims to give employees the chance to embark on a transformative spiritual journey.
The selected individuals included Nadia Qamar (Assistant Professor) and Abdul Hameed (Senior Security Guard), while Engr. Madiha Abbasi (Senior Lecturer in Telecommunications) and Engr. Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi (Civil Engineering) are standby.
Chancellor Akbar Ali Khan expressed his heartfelt sentiments during the ceremony, stating, “It is a profound blessing from Allah Almighty that four of our esteemed colleagues will have the opportunity to perform Hajj this year.
Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali emphasized the university’s commitment to employee welfare, noting, “The Hajj balloting is a testament to Sir Syed University’s dedication to its staff.
