GUJRAT, Oct 30 (APP):The University of Gujrat (UoG) has become the first university in Pakistan to introduce an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system for verifying and evaluating research papers submitted by faculty candidates through its job portal.
A training session in this regard was organised by the Directorate of IT Services at the Hafiz Hayat Campus. Members and staff from the Human Resource Department, ORIC, and the Scrutiny Committee attended the session. The initiative aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in the faculty recruitment process.
The newly developed AI system automatically reviews and scores research publications in accordance with the university’s recruitment policy, minimizing human error and ensuring fairness.
According to a UoG spokesperson, this technological advancement marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s higher education sector and reflects the university’s commitment to digital transformation and academic excellence.
