GUJRAT, Aug 28 (APP):Gujrat police force is actively participating in rescue operations in flood-hit areas of the district, and extending support to affected families.
Police officers and personnel shifted people to safer locations and assisted the administration in providing basic facilities. District Police Officer (DPO) Rana Umar Farooq said the police are not only committed to fighting crime but also standing by citizens in times of hardship.
He said that all possible measures were being taken to support flood victims.
