QUETTA, Nov 20 (APP): Vice Chairman of Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar on Thursday said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is taking all possible measures to provide employment and development opportunities to the youth.
He stated that the youth of Balochistan are the province’s bright future, and equipping them with international-standard skills along with access to investment and market opportunities is among the government’s top priorities.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting regarding preparations for the upcoming job fair at BUITEMS (Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences), followed by a scholarship related ceremony.
BUITEMS Registrar Dr Ehsan Achakzai and other officials were also present on the occasion. Bilal Khan Kakar said that the BBoIT is actively engaged in promoting investment and boosting economic activities in the province. As part of these efforts, BBoIT will be participating as an official partner and sponsor in the BUITEMS Job Fair.
He said that the purpose of participating in this job fair is not only to provide employment opportunities to the youth but also to connect them directly with industries and investors, enabling students to gain awareness of market requirements and explore new career prospects at provincial and national levels.
The Vice Chairman added that increased investment in the province would bring economic stability and create more avenues for the local workforce to utilize their capabilities effectively. Strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and the industrial sector is essential to prepare the youth according to modern demands, and the Investment Board is playing a key role in this regard.
During the meeting, BUITEMS management gave a detailed briefing on the preparations for the job fair and the opportunities being offered by various organizations for students.
The participants expressed their commitment to ensuring more employment avenues for the youth of Balochistan through such initiatives.
