Govt does not want to deprive any individual of its democratic rights to protest: Shahid Rind

QUETTA, Jul 28 (APP):Spokesperson of Balochistan government Shahid Rind on Sunday said that the government does neither want to deprive any individual of democratic rights, nor has any intention but interference in the affairs of the state is also not acceptable, however strict administrative decisions in the interest of the common man and in the national interest is a constitutional responsibility.
In a statement issued here, he said that if the state does not take action against the violation of law, the weak concept of the rule of law in the country will prove to be the cause of insecurity of the common man.
He added that the guise of a popular narrative for political purposes may be temporarily beneficial, but its long-term destructive effects do not bode well for national security.
He said that the political parties should put national interest in front instead of temporary popularity.
Shahid Rind said that government is ready to discuss all issues and to take steps to remove reservations, find out the solutions of every problem which can be found together within the constitutional framework.
“However, if one thinks that the state should be run on whims, then it is not possible. It has been said many times that protest is a constitutional right, but determining the appropriate place for protest is an administrative responsibility and it is practiced all over the world”, he  added.
The spokesman of the provincial government said that the Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has given his policy statement at the parliamentary forum regarding the objectives and state responsibility of the demonstration and protest in Gwadar and the executive of the province formally recognized the right of the protestors to protest.
Shahid Rind The Baloch Yekjehti Committee has been offered a peaceful protest at an appropriate place along with negotiations, but their resistance at all levels makes it clear that the issue is not a peaceful protest, but a matter of defamation by blaming the state and economic projects of CPEC.
Spokesman Balochistan government said that the state has acted with patience and patience and will continue to act but protesters also have to realize their constitutional and moral responsibilities in administrative matters.
