QUETTA, Dec 09 (APP): Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Tuesday said that the current government is committed to providing complete protection to all international and national investors for development of the province’s economic.
He said that we could use the available minerals and resources to put the country and the province on the path of economic development and prosperity.
He expressed these views while talking to Pakistani Ambassador to Sudan Behroz Reki and Syed Fateh Shah called on him at the Governor House, Quetta.
The meeting discussed the steps taken for investment in the province, protection of lives and property of mine owners, provision of necessary facilities by the government and provision of loans to mine owners.
The Governor said that Balochistan is a province of great importance in the entire region due to its geographical location and valuable minerals.
He said that it is certain that all the long-standing problems of mine owners would be resolved immediately by giving the mining sector the status of an industry at the federal level.
Jaffar Khan said that in this regard, there is an urgent need to provide all the necessary facilities and opportunities to the mine owners of Balochistan so that severe poverty and unemployment could be eliminated from the province.
Governor Balochistan said that it is the responsibility of the government to create new trade opportunities for traders, industrialists and mine owners across the province and provide access to the trade markets of neighboring countries.
He said that as a result, the overall standard of living in the province would improve and new employment opportunities could also be available to the people.
Governor Mandokhel said that he raised voice strongly for traders, industrialists and mine owners at every forum.
My constant desire and effort is to pave the way for the promotion of maximum economic and commercial activities, he said.
Mir Behroz Reki thanked Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel for providing full cooperation on behalf of the mine owners and keeping the doors of the Governor House open for traders.
