Governor vows to end poverty from province by cooperation of global institutes

QUETTA, Jul 18 (APP):Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Friday said that we are keen to enhance government initiatives and promote partnerships with international organizations to reach those living below the poverty line.
He expressed these views while talking to  Mr. Xu Weilbing, Country Director of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Pakistan called on him at the Governor House Quetta.
The Governor said that humanity is the commonality that unites people around the world, therefore, humanitarianism transcends borders and other barriers, we believe in universal principles regarding the service of humanity.
He said that our goal is to provide health, education and clean water facilities directly to the doorsteps of the small but scattered population of Balochistan.
The Governor said that given the challenges of basic amenities to the scattered population of the province, we urgently need the support and guidance of international organizations and humanitarian workers.
He said that in the context of Balochistan, education would be the cornerstone of our efforts, which could guide the people of Balochistan to build a bright future for themselves and their communities.
He also appreciated the important services of SF in providing medical facilities to the local population as well as Afghan refugees in Chaman and Kuchlag districts.
With both government initiatives and the support of international organizations, we can bring constructive changes in the lives of the people of Balochistan, he said.
