KARACHI, Jul 15 (APP):Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has said in his message on the occasion of Ashura that the 10th of Muharram “Ashura” is a historic, spiritual, and important lesson for Muslims all over the world.
The Ashura was the day of the great sacrifice and martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, the beloved grandson of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This day reminds us of Imam Hussain’s message and the historic role, he observed.
He said that the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) established the tradition of sacrificing one’s life for the exaltation of Islam and the achievement of the highest goals in Islamic history, which is also a bright example for those who follow the righteous path in every era of history.
