Governor Saleem hails Pakistan Army for service to country
LAHORE, Jul 21 (APP):Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that it is because of the Pakistan Army that Pakistan’s flag is held in high esteem worldwide.
He remarked that seeking cheap fame by undermining the nation is condemnable. He further stated that Field Marshal Asim Munir has earned global recognition and glory for the country and the nation.
He said in a condemnation statement on the controversial claim about ‘Marka e Haq’ and the Pakistan Army by the sister of the founder of PTI here on Monday.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the sister of the founder of PTI made such statements for cheap fame and a few votes.
He said that due to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, the flag of Pakistan flies high across the world.
He stated that maligning the nation for cheap publicity is unacceptable.
He added that Field Marshal Asim Munir has brought pride and honour to the country and the nation at the global level.
The Punjab Governor said that political parties should do politics but also think about the dignity of the country.
He said that political parties should not talk in such a way that makes the country and the nation a laughing stock before the world.
