PESHAWAR, Oct 02 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday strongly condemned the cowardly attack by Israeli forces on the Global Samood Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza.
In a statement, the Governor demanded the immediate release of all individuals on board the flotilla and criticized Israel’s actions as a blatant act of inhumanity.
He said preventing aid workers from reaching the oppressed people of Gaza and holding them hostage was unacceptable and against basic humanitarian principles.
Governor Kundi stressed that humanitarian aid must not be obstructed under any circumstances. He called upon the international community to take urgent steps to ensure the safe release of all those on-board the flotilla.
Terming the attack “a shameful act of brutality,” Governor Kundi said stopping life-saving aid from reaching the people of Gaza was a grave injustice and a violation of human compassion. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.
