PESHAWAR, Apr 04 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday extended heartfelt greetings to the Christian community across Pakistan, particularly in the province, on the occasion of Easter, emphasizing the values of hope, sacrifice, and unity associated with the festival.
In his message, the Governor said Easter conveys a powerful message of joy, hope, and sacrifice, while also reminding people of the importance of love, tolerance, and brotherhood in society.
He acknowledged the positive contributions of the Christian community towards the country’s development, prosperity, and stability, saying that their role has always been commendable.
The Governor stressed the need to further promote mutual respect, harmony, and unity on this occasion, adding that the Constitution of Pakistan guarantees complete religious freedom and equal rights to all minorities.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring their protection and welfare.
Faisal Karim Kundi also highlighted that as Governor, he has hosted members of the Christian community multiple times at the Governor House Peshawar, sharing in their celebrations as a reflection of interfaith unity.
