PESHAWAR, Nov 28 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday inaugurated the three-day 12th ISEM Pakistan Solar Energy Exhibition in Peshawar.
Upon his arrival, he was received by Country Manager Khawaja Wahaj-ul-Haq and other organizers.
The exhibition features a large number of national and international companies, energy specialists, technology experts and industry leaders.
The Governor visited various stalls where he was briefed on solar technology, modern energy solutions, green-energy equipment and the latest developments in the renewable energy sector.
Governor Kundi said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has vast potential for the promotion of solar energy, and such exhibitions not only attract investment but also create new opportunities for youth and the business community.
He added that the government is taking policy-level measures to promote renewable energy to move towards an environmentally friendly, low-cost and sustainable energy future.
The exhibition organizers thanked the Governor for his visit and encouragement to industry representatives, participants and investors, and presented him with a shield.
