QUETTA, Jul 23 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandukhail on Tuesday directed district administration of Zhob to take concrete measures for the complete protection of life and property of the people.
He said any kind of negligence regarding public welfare would not be tolerated.
He expressed these views while addressing a large public Jirga on the occasion of his two-day visit to Zhob.
Provincial Ministers including Mir Asim Kurd Gellu and Noor Muhammad Dummar were also accompanied by Governor Balochistan.
Addressing the Jirga, the Governor said Zhob division is of key importance in terms of its geographical location, archeology and tourist attractions.
The historic city of Zhob will soon become an important center of education, trade and tourism with the help and cooperation of the federal and provincial governments, he said.
Governor Balochistan said very soon he will announce the establishment of a modern and standard university in Zhob division.
He said soon NADRA office will be expanded in Zhob so that all basic facilities can be available at people’s doorstep.
