QUETTA, Jul 24 (APP):Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandukhail on Wednesday said that the time has come to ensure the participation of common people in the construction and development of the society.
He said this while talking to the delegation of elected representatives of local bodies of Zhob led by District Chaiman Zhob Haji Muhammad Khan Kabzai on the occasion of his two-day visit to Zhob.
He said that as public local body representatives have a sacred trust, it becomes your national duty to serve, empower and develop the people of your respective areas.
For this, it is important that they listen to the voices of the voiceless in our society and advocate for their basic needs, he said.
The Governor said that as people’s representatives at the local level, they educate our communities to participate in the decision-making process,
Engage and enable social activism because increasing public rights and empowerment can secure our shared bright future, he said.
Governor Balochistan said to uphold responsibility, transparency, accountability, and ethical standards while representing the people with integrity.
