Governor directs to restore old road near Luckpass Tunnel in 3 months to ensure smooth traffic flow

QUETTA, Oct 22 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday directed to restore the old road near Luckpass Tunnel within three months to ensure smooth traffic flow.
He expressed these views while talking to National Highway Authority members Basharat Hussain and Agha Inayatullah Shah.
The Governor said that this has come as part of a major effort to increase connectivity in different areas. Thus, the completion of Chaman to Karachi Expressway would bring many benefits to all the people of Balochistan.
Furthermore, Governor Mandokhel hoped that Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif would soon give the good news of approval of a separate expressway from Quetta to Zhob and DI Khan.
He said that in addition, in the next one or two months, the project of widening the road near Kolpur in Zhob Bypass and Bolan Pass would also be inaugurated.
Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that it was imperative to ensure the construction, safety and functioning of national highways throughout the province as national highways played a key role in the development and progress of the country and the nation.
He said that we were all united in our determination to restore sustainable peace, development and prosperity throughout the province.
