PESHAWAR, Nov 20 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday strongly condemned the bomb attack on a police vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan, terming it a highly tragic and reprehensible act of terrorism.
The Governor expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of two police personnel in the incident and paid rich tribute to their sacrifice.
The Governor extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families, saying that the entire nation shares their sorrow.
He prayed for the elevation of ranks of the martyred officers and for patience and strength for their families to bear the loss. Governor Kundi also conveyed his best wishes for the swift recovery of the injured police personnel.
“The attack on the police vehicle is extremely unfortunate and condemnable,” he said, reaffirming that the sacrifices of police personnel in the fight against terrorism will not go in vain.
He added that the nation stands united with the families of the martyrs, and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
