PESHAWAR, Nov 02 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday attended the funeral prayers of the police officer martyred in the tragic explosion at the Peshawar Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) station.
The Governor laid a floral wreath on the coffin and paid homage to the sacrifice of the martyred officer.
Governor Kundi expressed deep grief over the incident, which occurred when explosive material stored in the CTD station detonated.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks and for patience and strength to the relatives.
The Governor also conveyed his best wishes for the early recovery of the injured police personnel and lauded the bravery and dedication of the police force in maintaining peace and security in the province.
