KARACHI, Jul 08 (APP):The Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori administered the oath office to Mr. Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar as the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Sindh High Court (SHC) at the venue for the first time, where father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had taken oath of the office of Governor General, in Governor House.
Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar, Mayor of Karachi Murtaza Wahab, and some MPAs of the Sindh Assembly attended the ceremony.
The simple and impressive oath-taking ceremony was managed by the Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah.
On the occasion, Consul Generals of Turkey, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, Japan, Bangladesh and other countries to Karachi also attended the ceremony.
Sindh High Court Bar, lawyers and judges,IGP Sindh and renowned businessmen and dignitaries of the city participated in the oath-taking ceremony in large numbers.
