LAYYAH, Feb 07 (APP): A 10-year-old girl lost her life after being hit by a train in Layyah on Saturday.
According to Rescue sources, the girl, identified as Wasia, was allegedly crossing the railway track when the Thal Express, travelling from Rawalpindi to Multan, struck her. Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and provided medical assistance, but the girl succumbed to her injuries.
The incident caused grief in the area, while further details are being ascertained by the authorities.
