KARACHI, Jul 02 (APP):A delegation from GIFT University visited Chairman of the Businessmen Group (BMG), Zubair Motiwala and announced scholarships worth PKR 11 million for deserving students in Karachi. The financial assistance will enable selected students to pursue higher education at GIFT University’s main campus in Gujranwala.
The visiting delegation included Anwar Dar, Chairman of GIFT University; Atif Farooqi, Advisor to the Chairman and Sohail Shamim Firpo, Executive Director of the university’s Sindh Secretariat, said a news release issued here on Wednesday.
The initiative is part of the university’s commitment to promoting education and providing opportunities to underprivileged yet talented students from Karachi.
Zubair Motiwala lauded GIFT University’s efforts over the past 25 years and pledged his support in connecting the university with various platforms across Karachi to identify students who can benefit from the scholarship program.
“Education is the key to unlocking Pakistan’s true potential, and we are committed to making it accessible to all,” said Atif Farooqi. “This scholarship program is a step towards empowering the youth of Karachi and shaping the future leaders of our nation.”
