Ghotki police solves blind murder case, accused father arrested
SUKKUR, Jan 14 (APP):In a major breakthrough, Ghotki police have solved the blind murder case of a 1 year old girl, Fatima, daughter of Muhammad Ayoub Khambra, who was killed in village Sono Khambra, Reti, on January 4.
A police team led by DSP Abdul Qadir Soomro was formed to investigate the case and identify the perpetrator. Based on technical evidence and confidential information, the team arrested the accused, Muhammad Ayoub, the father of the victim.
During the interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. DIG Sukkur Range, Nasir Aftab, has congratulated SSP Ghotki, Muhammad Anwar Khatran, and announced commendation certificates for DSP Obauro and the police team for their outstanding investigation and successful operation.
