FUUAST & PARC sign MoU to promote research collaboration
KARACHI, Sep 23 (APP):The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST), Karachi, and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic, scientific and research collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Hina Mudassir, Director, Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), FUUAST, and Parvez A. Baloch, Director General, PARC-SARC. Professor Dr. Syed Inayat Ali Shah, Registrar, FUUAST, and Ali Sher Chandio, Director, VPIC, PARC, signed the MoU as witnesses.
Under the MoU, both institutions will collaborate on joint research projects, training programmes, faculty and student exchange, and capacity building of research staff. The agreement will also facilitate mutual access to library resources, scientific information and data, research materials and relevant facilities.
The collaboration aims to facilitate the systematic exchange of knowledge, experience and technical expertise and promote joint research to address agricultural, scientific and technological issues of national importance.
The agreement is expected to provide researchers, faculty members and students of both institutions with greater opportunities for collaborative research and academic and scientific activities.
