MULTAN, Jul 10 (APP):The Multan Region Police once again earned international recognition with the outstanding performance of renowned wrestler and sports officer, Sub-Inspector Furqan Ahmed Khan.
Representing Pakistan at the prestigious World Police and Fire Games 2025 held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, SI Furqan clinched the bronze medal in the 130kg Greco-Roman wrestling category.
Throughout the tournament, Furqan Ahmad demonstrated exceptional technical prowess, physical strength, and unwavering determination. He defeated top-tier wrestlers from the United States and Mongolia, and delivered an impressive performance in the semi-final against India, earning praise from competitors and spectators alike.
Regional Police Officer Multan, Capt (R) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, extended heartfelt congratulations to SI Furqan Ahmed Khan for his remarkable achievement. He termed the victory a moment of pride for the Multan Police and stated, “This accomplishment not only highlights the positive image of the police force on the global stage but also serves as an inspiration for youth to pursue excellence in sports.”
