LAHORE, Dec 17 (APP): The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has expanded its free Wi-Fi service to 41 government girls’ colleges in Lahore. According to a PSCA spokesperson, emergency panic buttons have also been installed in these colleges to ensure immediate assistance in case of any untoward incident.
The spokesperson said the CM Free Wi-Fi service will provide female students with fast and reliable internet access, enabling them to attend online lectures, conduct research, and complete assignments, supporting smart learning even outside their homes.
It was noted that the CM Free Wi-Fi service is already operational at 560 key locations in Lahore and over 1,500 locations across 24 districts of Punjab. Emergency panic buttons and Wi-Fi services are also being introduced in other cities, with the service intended strictly for educational and emergency use, not for video streaming or entertainment.
