PESHAWAR, Nov 20 (APP): Peshawar City Police arrested a man who had been posing as a government official to deceive citizens.
The action was taken by SHO West Police Station Faheem Shah after receiving public complaints.
The suspect was identified as Hazrat Ali Khan son of Janan Khan a resident of Bannu. He had been collecting passports from people by promising visas and was involved in multiple frauds.
Police recovered cash passports a bag and a diary from his possession.
A case has been registered against him for impersonation forgery and cheating and further investigation is underway.
