Four more hostages rescued in Katcha area operation

LAHORE, Jul 28 (APP):Punjab Police successfully rescued four abducted individuals and recovered 225 stolen buffaloes during a targeted operation against criminals in the Katcha area of Rajanpur.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the operation was conducted in the riverine region and led to the destruction of multiple hideouts used by the dacoits.
The spokesperson said a few days earlier, the gang had abducted four people and stolen 225 buffaloes from the border area between Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur, fleeing deep into the Katcha territory.
During the operation, Rajanpur Police apprehended three facilitators of the criminals, rescued the hostages and recovered the stolen livestock.
Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, commended the Rajanpur police team for their effective action and successful recovery of the hostages and stolen animals.
