Four killed,five injured in van-truck collision

FAISALABAD, Sep 26 (APP):At least four people were killed,while five others sustained serious injuries in a road accident in the area of Satiana police station.
Rescue-1122 spokesman said here on Tuesday that a passenger van collided with a truck coming from opposite direction on Tandlianwala road near Chak no.40 Satiana,Chamrail Jhal. Consequently,four people including Muhammad Munir (55) of Mubarakpura, Muhammad Hussain (70) of Chak no.410-GB Katcha Tandlianwala, Malik Shafiq (50) and Muhammad Jameel (35),residents of Mumtaz Abad received serious injuries and died on the spot, while five others were shifted to hospital.
Among injured included Shafqat (40) of Raza Abad Tandlianwala, policeman Haq Nawaz (38) of Chak no.423-GB Tandlianwala, policeman Wali Muhammad (45) of Chak no.607-GB Tandlianwala, Muhammad Irfan (53) of Chak No.214-RB Faisalabad and Muhammad Abbas (30) of Sun City Tandlianwala.
Rescue 1122 shifted the victims to Allied Hospital and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital whereas the area police started investigation after taking dead bodies into custody, he added.
