PESHAWAR, Jul 29 (APP):The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has launched a four-day Entrepreneurship Boot Camp for 40 students from the newly merged districts (NMDs) and frontier regions of the province.
The camp is being held at the scenic Khanaspur Youth Hostel at Ayubia and is being implemented in collaboration with Vibrant Perspective for Development.
Speaking on the occasion, Nayab Khan, a seasoned trainer and renowned woman entrepreneur, emphasized that the Directorate of Youth Affairs is at the forefront of promoting economic empowerment among students from underprivileged areas.
She lauded the visionary leadership of Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jehan and Director Youth Affairs KP, Dr Nouman Mujahid, under whose guidance the directorate has taken numerous steps to uplift the youth of the merged areas.
The first day of the boot camp in guidance of renowned woman business trainer and entrepreneur Ms.Nayab Khan,focused on understanding the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, with engaging sessions.
The second day will feature sessions on business model designing and idea pitching in guidance of young educationist Prof Dr Rasool Khan, while,the third day will be dedicated to business idea presentations and group activities under the guidance of Dr Altaf Qadir.
Winners of the boot camp will be awarded with certificates and special prizes to acknowledge their creativity and innovation.
The event also includes exposure visits to nearby areas, aimed at broadening the horizons and refreshing the minds of participating youth.
Trainers and participants in the camp extended their appreciation to the Directorate of Youth Affairs for organizing such a dynamic and impactful event.
They acknowledged the Directorate’s continued support in creating platforms that encourage youth from the merged districts to play a proactive role in their communities through innovation and entrepreneurship.
