QUETTA, Jul 10 (APP):Member of National Assembly (MNA) Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani on Thursday said that the youth of Balochistan have always been kept away from decision-making by the former rulers.
He said that the youth of Balochistan have been suffering from deprivation for decades, in the past only lies and promises were made in the name of the youth, it was no less than a shock to see M, Phil scholars submitting applications for the job of Levies soldier,
He said this while addressing a session organized by the youth.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s MNA Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani said that there is no road-map to end the deprivations of the youth in Balochistan, no one was present to guide the youth on career counseling and new opportunities.
As the coordinator, I promised the youth of the Balochistan Chief Minister a youth policy, after becoming the in-charge Minister for Sports, I got the first draft of the youth policy approved Peoples Party, as soon as the government came to power, he said.
He said that we gave the youth of Balochistan a youth policy within a year, now the implementation of the Balochistan Youth Policy (BYP) has also started in Quetta and under a comprehensive plan.
Nawabzada Mir. Jamal Khan Raisani said that the youth are being given the opportunity to represent themselves in decision-making.
He said that new employment opportunities and scholarships are being ensured to overcome deprivations, we would not want degree holders to work in a moving time bomb like a moving car, so it is our mission to ensure a job for every youth of Balochistan with dignity and merit.
On this occasion, MNA Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani shed light on his career, political heritage and guidance of the youth and described the journey of the first youth policy in Balochistan and listened carefully to the questions of the youth and gave satisfactory answers to them.
