Foolproof security to be ensured on I-Day in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, Aug 13 (APP):The police had made elaborate security arrangements on the Independence Day
in the region.
As many as 23 ceremonies will be held in all four districts, including Jhang, Chiniot,
Toba Tek Singh and Faisalabad, while 4,785 policemen will be on duty.
A spokesperson said on Tuesday that six ceremonies would be organized in Faisalabad, nine
in Jhang, four in Toba Tek Singh and four in Chiniot.
He said foolproof security arrangements had been made for parks, recreational places and
important buildings in the division.
Meanwhile, the chief traffic officers of the districts have been instructed to ensure smooth
flow of traffic on roads.
The teams of Elite Force, Dolphin Force and Quick Response Force will remain
on patrolling.
He said special squads had been formed to control one-wheelie and aerial firing.
