Foolproof security arrangements put in place for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Procession

RAWALPINDI, Sep 11 (APP):The effective security arrangements have been put in place for the central Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession in Chuhar Harpal, on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar Chaudhry Asar Ali inspected the security arrangements and issued necessary instructions to ensure the safety of participants and citizens.
More than 1,500 police officers and personnel are performing security duties at different points along the procession route.
Meanwhile, over 150 traffic police officers have been deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate citizens.
Participants are being allowed to enter through designated entry points only after passing through walk-through gates and undergoing complete body searches.
The procession is being monitored through the Safe City surveillance system and other security cameras, while a dedicated control room has been established for real-time monitoring.
The strict implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Punjab government is being ensured at all stages of the procession.
According to police spokesperson, all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure foolproof security and maintain law and order throughout the event.
