GUJRAT, Dec 02 (APP): Under the directives of Deputy Director Punjab Food Authority Rizwan Saeed, authorities conducted food safety inspections across the district. A total of 80 outlets were checked, with 23 establishments issued improvement notices. During the operation, six businesses were fined a total of Rs 71,000. Officials also collected two food samples for testing and confiscated 18.21 kilograms of expired and prohibited food, which was subsequently destroyed.
