LAHORE, Feb 02 (APP): Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine and Dentistry (FMHCMD) hosted the White Coat Ceremony for its 26th batch of MBBS students (Session 2025–26), marking a pivotal moment in the students’ formal induction into the medical profession, here on Monday.
The ceremony was graced by Prof Dr Tayyab Abbas, Principal, School of Health Sciences, NUR-FMS, and Prof Dr Ayaz Lone, Vice Principal, FMHCMD, said a press release.
Addressing the students, the speakers underscored the importance of professional integrity, ethical medical practice, and a commitment to lifelong learning in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.
A special address was delivered by Maha Rehman, Co-Founder of the NUR Foundation and Member, Board of Governors, NUR International University. She highlighted the significance of values-based education in shaping socially responsible healthcare professionals and urged the students to pursue their medical careers with empathy, humility, and a strong sense of service to humanity.
The ceremony was attended by faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests.
The donning of the white coat formally welcomed the incoming students into the medical fraternity
