FAISALABAD, Jan 10 (APP):District Food Controller (DFC) Rai Mushtaq Ahmed said on Saturday that supply of wheat flour across Faisalabad district is continuing smoothly and no shortage was reported anywhere as the flour is abundantly available in the market at officially notified rates.
He said that wheat flour was being sold at government rates. He said that a 10-kilogram bag is available at Rs 905 while a 20-kg bag at Rs 1,810.
On average, around 61,000 bags of 10 kilograms each were being supplied daily to meet consumer demand across the district, he added.
He said that flour was available at 680 designated shops throughout Faisalabad, ensuring easy access for the citizens.
He said that wheat flour was also being provided to Tandoors and hotels at official prices to maintain stable supply and prevent any artificial shortage.
