MUZAFFARGARH, Oct 20 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa announced on Monday that flood-affected communities will begin receiving compensation cheques from October 21 (Tuesday) at a ceremony to be held at Ali Pur Sports Complex.
Presiding over a meeting, the DC emphasized that ensuring an effective, transparent, and well-organized distribution process for flood victims remains the administration’s top priority. He warned that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
During his visit to Government Postgraduate College Muzaffargarh to review arrangements for the flood rehabilitation program, Deputy Commissioner Jappa stated that, following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, all necessary preparations have been finalized for a transparent cheque distribution starting Tuesday. He further announced that distribution for Muzaffargarh city would take place on Wednesday at Government Degree College Muzaffargarh.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that in accordance with the Chief Minister’s instructions, every affected family would receive their entitled compensation without delay or discrimination.
