Flood survey continues across Punjab on CM’s directions

LAHORE, Oct 07 (APP):On the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the largest flood survey in the province’s history is continuing across Punjab.
Survey teams have been mobilized in all flood-affected areas, reaching victims’ homes using boats and tractor trolleys in 27 districts. More than 2,200 teams are actively collecting data, traveling by motorcycles and on foot to access remote localities.
According to official data, information on over 162,000 flood-affected individuals has so far been collected. Details of 45,999 damaged houses have been recorded, while more than 500,000 acres of affected agricultural land and the loss of 6,921 livestock have also been documented.
The CM appealed to flood victims to provide accurate information to the survey teams and directed that every affected person be given full opportunity to report their losses to ensure transparent and comprehensive relief measures.
