ATTOCK, Dec 19 (APP): Five people were injured when a Hiace vehicle met with an accident near the Thatta Kalran Interchange on the CPEC route in the Pindi Gheb area on Friday, rescue officials said.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred due to over-speeding, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash.
Rescue 1122 dispatched two ambulances to the site soon after receiving the report. The injured were provided first aid at the scene and later shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Pindi Gheb.
The injured were identified as Islam Nabi (38), Muhammad Adil (25), Saifullah (46), the wife of Azmat Hussain (36), and Muhammad Ejaz (33). Hospital officials said their condition was stable.
Police said further investigation into the incident was underway.
