First meeting of IUB Institutional Quality Circle held

BAHAWALPUR, Jun 13 (APP):The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) officially inaugurated its Institutional Quality Circle with its inaugural meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the critical role of mutual cooperation and reliable data in strengthening quality assurance and boosting institutional performance. He underscored the importance of maintaining high teaching standards to benefit students and emphasized the university’s unwavering commitment to advancing excellence in teaching, research, governance, and community engagement.
Prof. Dr. Kamran also directed efforts to strengthen the university’s quality assurance processes, stressing the need for greater coordination and consistency across all academic and administrative departments. He reaffirmed the university’s dedication to continuous improvement and strategic growth.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asadullah Madni, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, provided a comprehensive briefing on internal and external quality assurance mechanisms. He also presented a review of the university’s current standing in global rankings and outlined its strategic objectives to further elevate its academic standing and institutional reputation. The meeting was attended by Deans, Registrar, Treasurer and other concerned officials.
