Dr. Farrukh called upon women aged forty years and above to undergo screening for the early detection of breast cancer, noting that “the relative survival rate for breast cancer at its early stage amounts to 90 percent.” He stressed that early diagnosis not only saves lives but also prevents the disease from spreading to advanced stages.
Both senior doctors appreciated the provincial government and hospital management for prioritizing women’s health and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening diagnostic and preventive healthcare in the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
