PESHAWAR, Dec 30 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Syed Fakhar Jehan has said that the provincial cabinet has approved financial assistance for owners of shops, rickshaws, petrol pumps, vehicles, water mills and factories that were affected by 2025 floods in district Buner and other parts of the province.
The minister stated that the initiative is an important measure of provincial government aimed at compensating the losses of flood-affected families in Buner and other affected regions.
It is worth mentioning that on the request of Syed Fakhar Jehan, KP Chief Minister had also enhanced compensation for damaged houses and loss of lives.
It said that efforts would be continued to take measures for welfare of masses and flood-affected population of the province.
