FIA holds screening tests of immigration staff at Lahore airport

LAHORE, Feb 20 (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone organised screening tests of immigration staff at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore to assess their health and professional fitness for effective service delivery.
According to an FIA spokesperson, Director FIA Lahore Capt (retd) Muhammad Ali Zia and Provincial Minister for Health Punjab Khawaja Imran Nazir attended the event and reviewed various stages of the screening process in detail, according to an FIA spokesperson.
The screening tests were aimed at conducting a comprehensive health assessment of the staff performing round-the-clock duties for the country, while also enhancing their professional capabilities, efficiency and overall service standards.
The spokesperson said that the initiative would help further improve the quality of services being provided to passengers by ensuring that immigration personnel remain physically fit and professionally competent.
He added that such measures were essential to provide timely and effective facilitation to travellers and to align border management practices with modern requirements at international airports.
